The ethos of these next stage workshops is to encourage and facilitate your personal skills at the same time as developing and testing your business idea. If you’re not sure whether you’re ready to go straight to the main business start-up programme, these workshops will help prepare you take those next steps. Your advisor will be able to help guide your choices, and if you are ready to go straight to the start-up programme, can sign you up on the next available one.

This short, no-jargon programme of workshops allows you to explore your own potential and aspirations towards enterprise as a means to becoming financially independent. We integrate business skills training, personal development and life management skills in the Intro to Enterprise workshops, increasing your confidence, knowledge and motivation.

We will also discuss, identify and evaluate the barriers you face, both real and perceived, and explore the many ways of overcoming them.

Would You Give Yourself A Job?

This workshop will help you consider what entrepreneurial qualities that you have and how they relate to your success in business. Also, discover where your Locus of control lies and explore the important area of Market Research in relation to your business idea.

Should You Give Yourself A Job?

This workshop focuses on your Market Research feedback from the previous session and explores the financial feasibility and viability of your business idea whilst accounting for your personal attitude to finance and risk.
